Black People Aren’t Apes

Every now and again in America, a Leftist (usually a registered Democrat) will ardently remind you, in one form or another, that black people aren’t apes.

Which is true; they aren’t. They are human beings.

Black people frequently exhibit ape-like behavior in public, so it’s easy to confuse them with apes, especially if you’re unaccustomed to their ways.

The confusion is ubiquitous. That’s why Leftists need to keep reminding you – remind all of us – that black people aren’t apes.

And sometimes you just have to use logic.

Last year, for example, I was walking through a Brooklyn parking lot when I thought I saw an ape mangling a man. It was dark; I couldn’t see clearly. The noises and animalistic comportment made me think it was an ape, so I pulled out my revolver (for which I have a license to carry) and mentally prepared to shoot the beast.

But, thankfully, I used logic. I asked myself, why would an ape be in a parking lot in Brooklyn? How did it get there? Did it escape from a zoo? What’s the explanation?

Through logic, I refrained from taking action.

As I got closer I realized that it wasn’t an ape; it was a black man trying to rob a defenseless White man.

Logic – Socrates be praised! – saved me from making a fatal mistake.
