Bald and Bankrupt traveled to India and offended the whole country by simply documenting what he saw there: poverty, filth, and people shitting in public.
It seems that Indians are enraged about the shitting in public thing most of all, vehemently claiming online that they don’t do that.
But they do do that.
There’s ample evidence of this barbaric practice.
One of the most disturbing memories I have about India is seeing a group of 6 or 7 scruffy Indians shitting next to each other near a bus station in Bangalore. One of them had no pants. An older Polish woman who was with me looked at them petrified and then – I kid you not – made the sign of the cross with her hand and ran.
I almost did that, too. It was a horrific scene.
Now, I’ve seen my fair share of motherfuckers pissing in public – mostly drunks and drug addicts and homeless guys. I’ve pissed in public a few times myself under the influence. But I’ve never seen anyone shitting in public in all my travels – and I’ve traveled extensively and I’ve been to some pretty rough places. With one exception: India.
In India, they will do that.
Why?
Because India is a shithole.
