Israel: It Wasn’t Us Who Blew Up That Hospital

When I heard that Israel blew up a hospital full of people I thought that most likely Hamas blew up a hospital full of people.

I mean, what are the odds of Israel – on purpose or by mistake – doing that?

Pretty slim if you ask me.

I don’t claim to know the truth, but Israel does.

And they blame Hamas:

Let’s see again the raw footage:

From @IsraelWarRoom:

Reports suggest that the mass casualty event at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City was the result of a misfired rocket launch by Hamas.

No IDF air activity was reported at the time and the timing coincided with a salvo of rockets launched at Israel.

Reminder: 30-40% of Hamas’ rockets misfire and land short in the Gaza Strip.

And they misfire alright:

The IDF also released this audio of Hamas operatives talking about the incident:

Here’s an interesting community note on X:

Al Jazeera was broadcasting and caught the entire event on video. At 18:59, a rocket emerging from Gaza, aimed at Israel, misfires and explodes. A few seconds later, still 18:59, the hospital in Gaza is hit. The rocket that hit the hospital came from within Gaza.

Biden arrived in Israel today and told Netanyahu:

The point is, is that I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion of the hospital in Gaza yesterday, and based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you.

The “other team” is Hamas.

So far, the evidence points to them blowing up that hospital by mistake, not Israel.
