Jane Goodall was a primatologist, anthropologist, ethnologist, naturalist, conservationist, researcher, vegan, animal rights campaigner, shamanistic witch doctor – but above all, she was a famous person.
The media emphasizes that Jane Goodall “changed the way we see animals”. She did no such thing. We see animals as always: stupid and huntable.
Her “groundbreaking” observations – that chimpanzees are not vegetarians, can use tools, and have individual personalities – had been noted by others, but somehow she got all the credit and fame.
She didn’t have a single insight, into anything.
This bitch will best be remembered for taking pictures with monkeys.
